Mystical Letters Art Exhibition, London
Happy Sunday lovelies :D
Yesterday, I visited Mystical Letters , an exclusive solo exhibition for the artist Aadil Abedi's work at Ahlan Art Gallery. The exhibition was a collection of paintings that were inspired by Arabic calligraphy and Sufi traditions. It was a smooth mix of the two. The Sufi representation was through the twirling dervish and the chosen Rumi verses that decorated some of them. The artist also drew from his Indian heritage and added some sparkly adornments to some of his pieces.
The gallery was very modest in size, but it was filled with good energy and welcoming smiles. I liked the classic white, simple exterior. The interior was focused on the art. The mirrors at the end of the room gave the impression of a slightly bigger space.
It was lovely to go and checkout the exhibition.
